Sheree Evonne Muth, 69, of Macomb, Illinois, died at 3:37 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

She was born December 17, 1953 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Lynn Leroy and Sophie Louise (Aisenberg) Sulier. Sheree was reared and educated in California, graduating from Granada Hills High School in 1973. She worked as a phone operator for First Impression Answering Service for about ten years in Las Vegas, Nevada. She married Loring B. Muth on May 11, 1985, at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1994. Many wonderful memories were made as she raised her daughters in Nevada before relocating to Illinois, and later moved to Washington for a time.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Jennifer (Brandon) Martin of Biggs, California, Kathryn (Jeremy) Marion of Canyon Country, California, and Ashli Muth of Galesburg; five grandchildren: Jonathan, Brianne, Ryan, Hayden, and Abbigail; and two great-grandchildren: Kyler and Beau. Also surviving are two brothers, Gregory (Chyanna) Sulier of Whittier, California, and Rick (Barbara) Sulier of San Marcos, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; father-in-law, Loring Muth; mother-in-law, Ruth Muth; and a brother-in-law, Stephen Muth.

Sheree was an avid reader and spent countless hours playing bingo, solitaire, and doing word searches. She loved country music and, in her youth, enjoyed going out dancing. Her preferred country artists were Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Shania Twain. Her favorite show was the X-Files, but she also liked watching NCIS or Law and Order: SVU. She was fond of animals, especially wolves. More than anything else, however, Sheree loved her family very much; she never went a single day without loving every member of her family. Sheree was raised Presbyterian and carried her faith and love in God with her to the end of her life, even if her relationship with God was complex after the loss of her husband. Sheree was a caring and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Cremation will be accorded. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be designated at a later date. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
