The Chief Shaubena Chapter, Roseville, IL, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, would like to recognize Alexis Strack of West Central High School, as their 2022- 2023 Good Citizen Award recipient. Alexis Strack’s parents are Wesley and Denise Strack of Stronghurst, IL.
While in high school, Alexis has been involved in Student Council Vice President, Class Vice President, National Honor Society President, Golf, Bowling, Softball, Band, Choir, Theatre, FIRE Service Club, Bi-County Youth Coalition, and has been recognized as an Illinois State Scholar. Alexis is also her class Valedictorian.
The DAR Good Citizen Award was created in 1934 and is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of:
- Dependability (truthfulness, honesty, punctuality, etc.)
- Service (cooperation, helpfulness, responsibility, etc.) Leadership (personality, self-control, initiative, etc.)
- Patriotism (unselfish loyalty to American ideals)
