The Cubs avoided a sweep by beating the Cardinals 10-4 at Wrigley Field.  The Cubs scored three runs in the bottom of the third to overcome an early two-run deficit, and they led for the rest of the game.  Patrick Wisdom and Yan Gomes both went deep in the victory.  Justin Steele improved to 6-and-0 after giving up three runs in six frames.  Chicago snapped a three-game losing streak.  The Cubs are in third-place in the NL Central at 18-and-19.  They visit Minnesota tomorrow night.
