Find Your Voice with the Galesburg Public Library Summer Reading Program

Share

The Summer Reading program with the Galesburg Public Library kicks off Monday, June 5th and lasts for eight weeks. Adults, teens, and children are all invited to participate both in person or virtually to earn activity badges, leading up to grand prize drawings, shares Technical Services Supervisor Anne Giffey:

“It is not just for kids. Our reading program is also for teens and for adults. If it is something you would like to challenge yourself with, you can go to our website and basically track the reading that you do and earn badges. All that reading will add up to the badges and badges then earn you raffle tickets. You could win a trip on Amtrak to the Chicago Shedd Aquarium. You could also win a private tour of the new library site and also have a legacy paver engraved with someone’s name of your choice and we will also be giving away a shopping spree.”

The theme for this summer’s reading program at the Galesburg Public Library is Find Your Voice. Registration can be done at the library or online at Summer Reading – Galesburg Public Library (galesburglibrary.org).
