Patricia Joan Woods, 90, of Galesburg, Illinois, died peacefully, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois.

Pat was born August 12, 1932 in Galesburg, the daughter of William and Mildred Ellen (Mackey) Farrell. Pat is survived by one son, William R. (Jenny-Lynne) Lee of Galesburg; one daughter, Mary W. (Jon) Prain, of Avon, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kellen Woods, Becca Woods, Elizabeth Prain, and Robert Prain; and three great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; and one brother.

Pat worked as a tech at the Galesburg Research Hospital until its closure. She then worked for Zeller Mental Health in Peoria, Illinois until her retirement. Pat operated a cake decorating business from her home for several years. She enjoyed working in her yard as well as crocheting.

Cremation will be accorded. Private family graveside services will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
