WHAT: Special Olympics Illinois will be hosting the annual Region F Spring Games in Monmouth. Spring Games consists of several track and field events that abide by USA Track and Field rules.
WHO: Therewill be 258 Special Olympics Illinois athletes from 25 agencies in western Illinois.
WHEN: Saturday, May 6, 2023; 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Sunny Lane Athletic Complex, 200 S. Sunny Ln., Monmouth, IL 61462
WHY: Spring Games is an event for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete in track and field events. Over the next month, each region will host a Spring Games for their athletes. Those that win gold will have the chance to compete this summer at the annual Summer Games held at Illinois State University.
