Corey Fineran Created Transition Curriculum that Prepares Students for What is Next After High School

Share

Helping to improve results and prepare high school students, primarily students with disabilities, for employment and life after school, Knoxville native Corey Fineran co-founded Transition Curriculum Incorporated to assist in making that next step easier:

“It is a video based curriculum, so teachers will show a video that goes over a specific topic each week. There is an opportunity for students to engage with the video and submit questions. Then there is a full lesson plan for the teacher to implement in the classroom. We create activities for teachers to use and then we also provide a lot of resources that can measure student growth. We do webinars for teachers on transition topics and then we also do webinars for the families of students to give them information they are going to need.”

Transition Curriculum focuses on providing work skills, independent living, employment skills, and post secondary education or training.
