This Friday, June 9th, the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Transformational Team, will host their second session for their monthly lunch and learn series ‘The Now Normal Series’ at Jimmy’s Pizza from noon to 1 pm. Executive Director Pam Gaither shares this event is for anyone looking to expand on their development:

“It is really just a time to get back to growing ourselves and leaning into our teams and growing our businesses. Whether you are wanting to develop yourself within the organization you represent or just yourself personally, this series on Friday is Generational Diversity at Work. There will be discussions on lots of different opportunities to learn more about how different generations in the workplace work together. Obviously, there could be up to four or five generations in a workplace right now. It is free to attend and there is a lunch option.”

Session 3 for ‘The Now Normal Series’ will be held on Friday, July 21st and the topic will be Geniuses at Work.

More from the Galesburg Area Chamber:

Based on the work of Dr Tim Elmore and his book A New Kind of Diversity, leader’s and anyone on the team will gain an understanding of the different generations, which can be up to FIVE generations in the workplace or within organizations today. Ideas will be presented to help leaders and co-workers to CONNECT with each generation, which will enable the organization (or family) to get the most out of each generation.

Anyone looking to expand on their development is encouraged to attend!
