Jack D. Niles, Sr.., age 86 of Dover, Tennessee died on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Brookdale Senior Living in Clarksville, Tennessee.

He was born on September 18, 1936 in Savanna, Illinois the son of Floyd and Alvina (Groezinger) Niles. He married Barbara Byrd in 1997. He attended High School and then, College for several years where he received his Engineering Degree.

Surviving are his sons: Floyd Niles of Monmouth, Illinois, Douglas Niles and Mike Niles all of Knoxville, Illinois and Jack Niles of Galesburg, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Jerry and daughter-in-law, Robbi Niles.

He was an Electronic Engineer. He and his twin brother owned and operated Carrol Co. TV for several years, he also taught electronic Engineering. He enjoyed repairing and restoring TVs. He served in the United State Navy from 1954 to 1960.

Private graveside services will be held at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and sent to Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes at 120 south Public Square, Knoxville, Illinois 61448.
