Three new businesses have been approved by the Galesburg City Council for start up business funding, shares Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:

“The three companies are MOD Esthetics. MOD Esthetics is a permanent makeup business. Sarah Howerter is the proprietor of that and they are going to open up on Prairie Street in downtown Galesburg. The second business was called Get Sum Ink LLC, that is a new tattoo shop that will be opening up on Henderson Street. Then the last is called Greenlords Farm LLC, which is a hemp processing company. All three of those went to City Council last week in Galesburg and were able to get some funding from the city.”
