The National Baseball Hall of Fame officially has two new members. First baseman Fred McGriff and third baseman Scott Rolen were each inducted into Cooperstown on Sunday. McGriff joins the Hall of Fame after being elected unanimously by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee. McGriff notably won a World Series title with the Atlanta Braves during the 1995 season and was a five-time All-Star. Rolen helped the St. Louis Cardinals capture the 2006 World Series and becomes the 12th Hall of Famer to feature a Cardinals logo on his Hall plaque. Rolen was voted into the Hall of Fame in his sixth year of eligibility.
