Juvenile Arrested Following Investigation of Stolen Dirt Bike

On the night of July 14, 2023, a Honda dirt bike was stolen from a residence in Knoxville. In the early morning hours of July 15, 2023, Knox County Deputies were in a short pursuit with the dirt bike in Abingdon, however Deputies terminated the pursuit after three blocks.

On July 16, 2023, Deputies learned the location of the dirt bike, and on July 17, 2023, Knox County Investigators executed the Search Warrant on the afternoon of July 17 and recovered the stolen dirt bike.

A 15 year old juvenile was arrested as a result of this investigation.

Assisting with this case was the Knoxville Police Department, the Abingdon Police Department, and the Knox County State’s Attorney’s Office.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
