About 18 months ago when local entrepreneur Jason Robbins happened to drive by the Wyatt Earp Birthplace, he discovered the building was in desperate need of repair. Robbins then reached out to the current owners, Bob and Melba Matson, to express his interest in bringing the building back to life as a historical landmark in the Monmouth community:

Robbins anticipates renovations at the Wyatt Earp Birthplace in Monmouth to be completed in the spring of 2024.
