“We had a really good year this year- best so far. I got three first places, one second, one-third, and two fourth. Out of those” said Johnson, “I had three first Land of Lincolns, and three first Illinois Breds. But my top placing was Reserve Overall Berkshire Gilt.”

Johnson’s show season is not over quite yet. She says they are taking some gilts to the National Barrow Show in Minnesota next month.
