Cattle Show
The Illinois State Fair wrapped up its 2023 season on Sunday after creating unforgettable experiences for youth across the state, such as Maci Brooks.
“Coming to the State Fair, I was really high and positive on my Hereford steer. I was hoping he would do really well, and he did. He came through and he won the Herefords,” said Brooks. “Then we got to go to the Colosseum. That was a very fun experience and little did I know that he was going to be chosen as the Reserve Grand Champion Land of Lincoln Steer. That could be a once-in-a-lifetime memory for me so it was very exciting for me, my family, and the crew that helped us.”
