On August 15th, the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District will host its Annual Meeting and Steak Dinner at the Monmouth Country Club. Shawnee Sheehan, Resource Conservationist with the conservation district shares details about the meeting.
“We will discuss the financial report from the last year going into the next fiscal year. The meeting will adjourn and then we go into a steak dinner provided by us for free. We are going to have Tri-County Cattlemen’s partnering with us to cook all the steak. We have desserts coming from the Village Bean out of Roseville. And then we will go right into our guest speaker Joel Gruver. He will talk to us about nutrient management focusing on carbon.”
