Stephanie Ann Sloan, 56, of Galesburg passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 4, 2023. She was born June 30, 1967, in Chilton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ricky K. and Margo (Lulloff) Sloan. Stephanie graduated from Kiel High School (Kiel, Wisconsin) in 1985 and later from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a degree in communications. She currently was working for the former Yemm- Ford now Ford of Galesburg as the finance manager. Stephanie was a member and had served on the board of Lake Bracken Country Club. There she loved golfing, boating and riding four wheelers with her close friends. Stephanie had a love for traveling and enjoyed organizing and planning trips with her tight-knit group. Using her organizing skills, she was very instrumental in fundraising events at Lake Bracken for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Left to cherish her memories are her soulmate and partner in life, Scot Kelm of Galesburg; her mother, Margo Sloan of Kiel; her brother Kris (Trish) Sloan; her nephew, Otto Sloan all of Austin, Texas; her grandmother, Alyce “Butch” Lulloff of Kiel, her aunts and uncles, Delores Clancey, Barbara (Dennis) Lindell, Gary (Molly) Sloan, Joyce Sloan, Eric “Rick” (Charlene) Lulloff, Anthony (Janet) Lulloff, Joel (Jennifer) Lulloff and Gwen Ninmer (John Brotz) and her two fur babies, Rufus and Ruby, and many friends, as she never knew a stranger. She is preceded in death by her father, Ricky, August 26, 2023.

A Celebration of Life for Stephanie will be held with her father’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at Altona Supper Club, (2306 Calumet Dr.) New Holstein, WI.

The Celebration of Life for Stephanie will be held at a later date at Lake Bracken Country Club. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Stephanie’s name. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting her family with arrangements in Illinois.


Stephanie had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh, that will be missed by all that knew her.
