Warren County Board Considers Partnership with MCAP and City of Monmouth for an Economic Development Position

Share

At the recent Warren County Board meeting, the Maple City Area Partnership, or MCAP, presented a proposed partnership to the county board in joining them and the City of Monmouth in creating an economic development position. Chairman Mike Pearson has more:

“This looks like a good opportunity to grow our county. It was met with some favorable comments from the board and we will take it up at our next month’s meeting and committee meetings, but essentially it wold benefit the entire county with the possibility of a person going out and being able to sell our community and county to developers.”

The proposed partnership would be a three year commitment, $25,000 each year, by the Warren County Board, along with the City of Monmouth and MCAP.
