West Central Middle School’s PBIS Program Recognized as September School Spotlight

The PBIS Program at West Central Middle School is the WMOI/WRAM September School Spotlight, courtesy of MTC Communications and the Regional Office of Education #33. Principal Sara Ryner shares the program awarded students showing good behavior with ‘Heat Bucks:’

“PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention System. We have all these interventions that we try to do for the bulk of our kids that everyone gets to be involved in. We have a store and they can buy anything from a basketball or a football to a necklace or fake nails with their ‘Heat Bucks.’”

West Central Middle School has 172 students enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year.
