In today’s world, children are becoming younger and younger when using the internet, cell phones, and social media. While the internet is a great resource in obtaining information, making sure to understand the dangers of certain behaviors is very important, especially for children. Child Cyber Crimes Detective Rich Wistocki recently presented to students and parents of the Monmouth-Roseville community on identifying predators online, the dangers of posting photos online, and explained to parents how to locate hidden items on their child’s devices, shares Monmouth-Roseville High School Principal Jeff Ewing:

Ewing encourages all parents to watch Detective Wistocki’s Ted Talk for more on protecting children online and with social media, which can be found at BeSure Consulting, Training for Law Enforcement, Parents and Children.
