The Illinois men’s basketball team wrapped up its preseason with a 82-75 victory over number-one Kansas in the Maui Strong Relief Matchup exhibition at State Farm Center last night. Terrence Shannon Jr. led all scorers with 28 points, while knocking down a team-high five 3-pointers. The Fighting Illini open the regular season a week from today at home against Eastern Illinois.
