Hi, my name is K9 Jax. 
I’m a 1.5-year-old German Shepard from Belgium. I am a fun, loving, and energetic dog who loves to work and play. I spend most of my time patrolling the streets of Macomb with my dad, Officer A. Cremer. I recently completed 5 weeks of K9 school at Cedar Creek Kennels in Monmouth, IL. where I learned how to detect different narcotics and track for missing or wanted people as well as many other important tasks. The ability to join Macomb Illinois Police Department and attend K9 school would not have been possible without the help of our amazing community who I look forward to helping and meeting. When I’m off duty, you can find me hanging out with my 2 fur brothers and 2 human brothers. I love chasing tennis balls and going for long walks, but I hate to get wet. I’ve been told that my bark is ferocious, but I love everyone…. especially when I get attention. I am very excited to learn and work alongside K9 Mac and Ofc. Severs.
