Meetings with Downtown Monmouth Business Owners to Begin as Start of Public Square Revitalization Project Nears

As $3 million in funding has been secured through grants from the State of Illinois and the Illinois Department of Transportation and planning for the Downtown Revitalization project continues for the City of Monmouth, City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher provides a sneak preview of the new design:

Meetings with business owners and stakeholders that will be impacted by the Downtown Revitalization will begin next week. The project is expected to begin next spring.
