The Monmouth-Roseville Titans football team officially heads up north to Poplar Grove to compete in the first round of the class 3A IHSA playoffs today, taking on the North Boone Vikings of the Big Northern conference. This regular season the Titans finished with an overall record of 5-4, good enough to land them the 10 seed in the 3A playoffs this season, as Monmouth-Roseville makes their third straight appearance in the playoffs, the longest streak in program history. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning ahead of the Titans big matchup with the Vikings, Head Coach Jeremy Adolphson says that North Boone’s time in a very tough conference has made them into a very formidable opponent.

Tonight’s Monmouth-Roseville vs North Boone contest will kick-off from North Boone High School at 7:00. The Titans are looking for their first playoff win since 2018. You can hear all the action from tonight’s game live on Sunny 97.7 WMOI, coverage will begin with the pregame show at 6:40.
