The Monmouth-Roseville Titans football team is moving on to the second round of the class 3A IHSA playoffs for the first time since 2018. This past Friday night the 10th seeded Titans defeated the North Boone Vikings 35-14 on the road to set up a home playoff game this weekend at Coach Dobry Field in Monmouth. Monmouth-Roseville’s opponent for their round 2 matchup is a familiar foe, as they welcome in Three Rivers Conference rival Princeton to Sunny Lane. In their last matchup, the Titans were beaten at home by the Tigers in week 1 by a score of 40-0. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Monday, Monmouth-Roseville Head Coach Jeremy Adolphson says he and the team are excited for a chance to play their biggest game of the season at home under the lights against a formidable team in the Princeton Tigers.

Monmouth-Roseville’s second round matchup with Princeton will kick off from Coach Dobry Field on Saturday November 4th at 5:00. Princeton, a 2 seed in the 3A bracket, advances to the second round with a 44-7 win over 15 seeded Paxton-Buckley-Loda. For the full interview with Coach Adolphson, visit the Sports Podcast section.
