Henry Co. Authorities Seeking Wanted Fugitive Who Fled Traffic Stop

Share

The Henry County Sheriffs Office is searching for a wanted fugitive who fled a traffic stop.  Authorities say a deputy pulled over vehicle being driven by James Lasenby Friday night on Route 78 south of Annawan.  Lasenby had a valid nationwide arrest warrant.  The deputy attempted to arrest him, but he sped away, causing minor injuries to the Deputy. The vehicle was pursued as the vehicle exhibited reckless disregard to the public.  Officers chased the suspect, who collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Tenney and Division Streets in Kewanee.  He drove off before law enforcement arrived.
