Jerry Reinsdorf Enters Agreement To Possibly Sell White Sox Majority Ownership

There could be a new owner of the White Sox in the coming years. The club announced that current owner Jerry Reinsdorf has entered into a long term agreement that could lead to him selling controlling interest to billionaire Justin Ishbia as early as 2029. Ishbia already has a minority stake in the team. He and his brother, Mat, are majority owners of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury.
