Janice (Jan) Jordan, 84, passed away on December 2, 2023, just thirteen days before her 85th birthday.

Jan was born December 15, 1938 to James and Virginia (Armstrong) Robertson. She was the youngest of four siblings: Betty Meyerson, Bill Robertson, and Jim Robertson, all preceding her in death. Jan was married briefly to the love of her life, Merle Osburn, before his death. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jan had a true love of horses at a young age. She owned many horses through the years and would compete in horse shows, winning many awards. Jan enjoyed giving riding lessons to family and friends and enjoyed participating in the 100 Mile Trail rides. She also loved her dogs and cats. Jan worked at OMC Gale Products and Bridgeway where she met many friends and clients. A special thank you to her friend, Pam Frank for helping care for her over the past several years.

Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services will be held next spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Western Illinois Animal Rescue in Monmouth. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
