Monmouth-Roseville High School Sees Increased Interest in GAVC Programs

Share

With the increase of interest from Monmouth-Roseville high school students on being involved in programs with the Galesburg Area Vocational Center, the Board has approved on paying tuition for 25 students shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Many years ago the Board approved to pay tuition for high school students to attend GAVC and at that time they agreed on 10 students. Recently the interest in GAVC, the Galesburg Area Vocational Center, has increased and so I asked the Board to consider paying for up to 25 students and their tuition to attend and they agreed to do so. GAVC, whether students are going to college or not, prepares kids for life after high school.”

The Galesburg Area Vocational Center offers programs for computer science, welding, electrical, law enforcement, fire science, health sciences, culinary, and others.
