The United School District has begun the process of reorganizing their grade levels, which will be in place for the 2024-2025 school year, says Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt:

“We have been doing some planning with the administrative team and working with some teachers and instructional coaches to go over the planning that we have got done for that. We are making progress every week. A lot of decisions are getting made. Our 4th through 6th building, we are going to call United Intermediate School and now we can move forward and know exactly what we are talking about. We also have a moving schedule that we are working on.”

Next fall, the United North and West Elementary buildings will house pre-kindergarten through 3rd grades, the United Intermediate building will be 4th through 6th grades, and the Junior/Senior High School will house 7th through 12th.

More from Superintendent Whitsitt can be heard here.
