The United Board of Education has named a new principal for the Junior and Senior High School, shares Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt:

“With my leaving at the end of this school year, and Mr. Chris Schwarz taking over as Superintendent, that left a vacancy in our Junior Senior High School principal. Our Board unanimously approved the hire of Mr. Brian Higbee to be our new high school principal. Brian has been with the district as long as we have been a district. He was previously with the Yorkwood district as a Spanish teacher. He has been a Spanish teacher for us and he is also one of our Transportation Directors. He manages the transportation on our West campus. He has just done a ton of things during his tenure for the United School District and we are excited to have him.”

Superintendent Whitsitt is retiring following a 33 year career in education.

More from Superintendent Whitsitt can be heard here.
