United Red Storm Girls Basketball Gearing Up for Second Half of Season

Share

Story by Kadin Rogers

The United Red Storm girls basketball team is currently on hiatus, as they do not participate in a holiday tournament over the winter break. The final game that United played in before break was a match with West Central last Wednesday, with the Red Storm falling on the road to the Lady Heat by a final score of 56-35. Despite the loss to the Heat, United entered their break with a solid 8-5 overall record.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Tuesday morning, 2nd year head coach at United Chris Olson discussed how the team plans to attack the second half of the season, as they look to keep their good momentum going down the final stretch of the season.

United’s next action will come on January 4th with a home game against Ridgewood. For the full interview with Coach Olson, visit the Sports Podcast section.
