Story by Kadin Rogers

The United Red Storm boys basketball has extended their winning streak to 12 games after a 41-38 win over Lewistown on Monday. United has been on a tear since starting their season with 3 straight losses at the ROWVA/Williamsfield Thanksgiving Tournament. This winning streak including an undefeated 5-0 stretch at the Red Storm’s very own United Holiday Tournament, has put the Red Storm at (12-3) under the direction of first-year head coach Jason Lancaster.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Thursday, Coach Lancaster says he couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season than what the boys have accomplished at the halfway point of their game schedule.

United will be on a break over the holiday season, as the Red Storm boys’ next game will not be until January 3rd against Knoxville. For the full interview with Coach Lancaster, visit the Sports Podcast section.
