Nearing the end of the semester and gearing up for winter break, the West Central School District has been busy with their annual holiday music concerts, shares Superintendent Stacey Day:

“With staffing shortages we kind of pulled some people into spots they are not used to and pulled on their talents from outside of what they normally do, but I will tell you what, everybody that we have had help us this year, has been great. Cindy Boyd and Jackie Clark at our elementary. The two elementary concerts they put on were fantastic. We hired a new music teacher, Bethany Nannen has helped with our band and then Kellsy Scott and Brandon Ouellette, have been helping out with our choir. Every concert I went to in the last two weeks, the kids were great, music sounded good. It is fun to see kids doing those kinds of things that are not just in a classroom.”

West Central will begin their winter break this Wednesday afternoon with school resuming Thursday, January 4th.
