Kirk E. Moulden, 62, of Gerlaw, IL, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born on September 17, 1961 in Monmouth, IL the son of Donald E. “Gene” and Marlene (Johnson) Moulden. Kirk was raised and educated in Warren County, graduating from Warren High School in 1979.

Kirk married Ondria on May 11, 1996 at the First Lutheran Church of Monmouth and she survives.

Kirk was Paint and Body man at Louis Lakis Ford in Galesburg, EquipCo and most recently Lairs Collision both in Monmouth. He retired in 2013.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Monmouth and the National Street Rod Association. He enjoyed restoring Street Rods, candy machines gas pumps and Coke machines. He also enjoyed golfing, motocross and collecting NACAR and antique toy trucks.

Survivors include his wife, Ondria Moulden of Gerlaw; his mother, Marlene Moulden of Monmouth; brother, Doug (Susan) Moulden of Little York, IL; nephews, Anthony (Nicole) Moulden, Brandon (Jessica) Moulden and John (Dawn) Cadwell; nieces, Rhonda Hillyer, Margee (Bruce) Patterson, Melinda (Dick) Brunkow and Melissa (JoAnn) Cadwell; sister-in-law, Vickie Cadwell of Galesburg, IL; several great nieces and great nephews

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am. Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Interment will be in Gerlaw Cemetery, Gerlaw, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Memorials can be given to the First Lutheran Church of Monmouth and sent to the funeral home.
