Monmouth-Roseville Titan Girls Basketball Happy for Long Stretch of Home Games

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville girls’ basketball team was one of the few area high school basketball teams that was able to sneak in a game during last week’s winter storm. The Lady Titans played in a home contest at the Shoebox of Monmouth-Roseville High School, taking on fellow Three Rivers Conference West Division rival Erie-Prophetstown. A dominant showing in the second and third quarters for the Lady Titans would help push them to a 49-30 home win over the Panthers. The win over Erie-Prophetstown improves M-R’s overall record to 13-9 with a 5-3 mark in conference play. The girls coming off a week-long break in action will now set their sights on another home game against Kewanee tomorrow night. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, Titans Head Coach Scott Weber says the team is going to try to balance rest with preparation going into a long stretch of home games to finish their season.

Tomorrow night’s Monmouth-Roseville vs Kewanee girls basketball contest will tip-off from the Shoebox at 7:00. We will have that game live on the PCSN, on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM tomorrow night as well as radiomonmouth.com, beginning with the pregame show at 6:45.
