Monmouth’s Communication Director Ken Helms Reminds Vehicles Will Be Ticketed on Designated Snow Routes

City of Monmouth Communications Director Ken Helms reminds residents of the snow removal process during a declared Snow Emergency for Monmouth and that vehicles parked on designated Snow Routes will be ticketed:

“During snow removal, snow routes get the very first priority. During a declared Snow Emergency, our police department will ticket you. We do not waive those tickets, it is clearly posted. Priority again, we hit the snow routes, get that all done, then it moves onto side streets. Because of the traffic and emergency services, snow routes come first, then side streets, and then finally public parking lots. That would be like the downtown square. Then they go for the removal of the snow.”
