Patricia A. Scott, 92, of Galesburg, died at 11:21 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

She was born March 23, 1931, in Galesburg, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Steele) Kunkle. She married Richard Scott in Galesburg.

She is survived by four children, Gary Scott of Galesburg, Rodney (Alice) Scott of Knoxville, Michael Scott of Galesburg, and Sharon (Charlie) Lange of Sioux City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; companions, Don and Ed; two brothers; and two sisters.

Patricia worked at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville for over 25 years in many capacities. She graduated from Wataga High School. She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church.

Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Galesburg Rescue Mission. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.
