Sondrea N. Marshall, 20, of Galesburg, died unexpectedly at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023, at home.

She was born January 9, 2003, in Galesburg, the daughter of Brian W. and Samantha L. (Dupoy) Marshall.

She is survived by her parents of Galesburg; her son, Braxton Creighton of Galesburg; her sister, Savannah Marshall of Galesburg; grandparents, Betty and Doug Beaty of Galesburg, Maggie and Dennis Decker of Galesburg, and James and Paula Dupoy in the state of Washington; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Rex Howard, Heather and Josh Warner, and Bri Dupoy; and many other extended family and friends.

Sondrea will be remembered as having a vivacious, larger-than-life personality. While she was small, she was certainly mighty as some would describe her as a firecracker. Sondrea was also known to have a goofy, silly side as well. Mostly, Sondrea will be remembered for her loving spirit, especially apparent with her little guy, Braxton.

Cremation will be accorded. The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2023, at Graceway Church, 205 N. State St., East Galesburg. A celebration of life luncheon will follow at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family either directly or through their GoFundMe. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family. Online condolences and memories may be shared on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
