Midwest Storms Trigger Rare Tornadoes

Severe weather in the Midwest is spawning rare tornadoes in February.  Thursday’s storms triggered the first ever February Tornado Warnings in Wisconsin, where a rope tornado was spotted near the town of Evansville.  A twister was also reported in northern Illinois near the town of Henry, where it flipped over a semi truck and knocked over some trees.  The National Weather Service in Davenport, Iowa says it’s only the second February tornado in the area since 1950.
