The Monmouth-Roseville High School winter sports season has officially wrapped up as we head into the end of the month of February. After successful seasons from the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams as well as the varsity wrestling program sending numerous individuals on to sectionals, the Titans will now gear up for the beginning of the spring sports season coming in March. The first sport up for the spring season is track and field, with the first meet coming on March 1st at the Illinois College Indoor meet. If traditional spring showers hold off, the start of the boys’ baseball and girls’ softball seasons will be March 13th when the Titans welcome in Stark County for a pair of home games at Sunny Lane Field and Monmouth Park. Also getting underway in mid-March is the varsity girls’ soccer season. They will be on the road to start the year at Cornerstone Christian Academy on Saturday the 16th, with the first home contest at Pattee Field coming on Monday the 18th against Limestone Academy. Speaking of Pattee Field, after the girls wrap up their 2024 spring season, a big addition will be made to the place that the Titans boys and girls soccer programs call home, shares Monmouth-Roseville High School Athletic Director Jeremy Adolphson.

Installation of the lights at Patee Field is expected to be completed before the 2024 fall sports season. For the full interview with Athletic Director Jeremy Adolphson, visit the Sports Podcast section.
