Free Colorectal Cancer Screening Test Kits Available Locally

Share

Free non-invasive testing kits through the McDonough District Hospital are available to screen for colorectal cancer, explains Vice President of Business Strategy Patrick Osterman:

“It is obviously still March and Colorectal Cancer Awareness month. The free test kits, any individual can come pick up a test kit, just follow the instructions and you can mail that back. The MDH Laboratory and MDH Outreach, we are actually doing those tests for free. It is just an easy, free screening tool to test for any possible presence of colorectal cancer. If there were to be anything to get flagged, your primary care provider is going to know and will help you during that process.”

Test kits are available for pick-up at the MDH Monmouth Clinic.
