Galesburg Library Closed For A  Month

Share

Folks in Galesburg are going to have to check-out books online for the next month or so. The city’s library closed yesterday. The library will stay closed until April as crews move into a new building. Galesburg’s library has been on  East Simmons Street for 60 years, but starting next month it will be on Main Street. Library managers say the new building will have more space, and allow the library to do more. Any books or other things that were checked-out in February aren’t due back until the library reopens in April.
