The Carl Sandburg Humanities and Fine Arts department is presenting “A Night of One Act Plays” in the Fine Arts Theater on the Galesburg campus April 26th and 27th at 7:30 pm and 2 pm Sunday, April 28th. Associate Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts and Assistant Professor of Music James Hutchings preview what the audience can expect:

“We have six plays being presented, short eight to twelve minute plays all by local authors. Some of those playrights will be in attendance with us there. We have six amazing casts who have done a lot of work and are ready to present that work. Very widely, we have comedies, we have some heavy dramas, we have some dealing with PTSD, so it is a really fun, varied, dynamic night.”

Meanwhile, through May 6th, the annual Student Art Show is on display in the Lonnie Eugene Stewart Art Gallery, featuring a variety of mediums.
