Detroit tourism officials say the economic impact of the attendance record-breaking NFL Draft crowd could exceed 150 to 175-million-dollars. Visit Detroit President and CEO Claude Molinari says they are still finalizing the impact and will have a final report by June, but he predicts the amount will exceed the estimates. An estimated 775-thousand people attended the event while another 34-million people watched the draft on TV. Mayor Mike Duggan says the city should be proud of the warm welcome they provided last week.
