Monmouth College Represented at Prestigious Drake Relays

The 2024 Drake Relays were held this past weekend in Des Moines, Iowa on the campus of Drake University. The week-long track and field event has been held since 1910, and it plays host to athletes from high schools, colleges, and universities from around the country, as well as many Olympian hopefuls. An athlete that is a very familiar name to the Monmouth community took part in the meet, as Monmouth College junior Maddie Boley was invited to compete in the discus throw on Friday. For more on Boley’s accomplishments this season, and appearance at the 2024 Drake Relays, here’s Monmouth College Sports Information Director, Nathan Baliva.

Boley can now add an invitation to the Drake Relays on to her impressive 2024 resume, which also includes two Midwest Conference performer of the week awards.
