Four students from Monmouth-Roseville took part in the CTE Senior Signing Day with the Galesburg Area Vocational Center, which gives an opportunity to honor those students for completing a GAVC program and plan to pursue schooling in a CTE field, enter the workforce, or enlist in the military. Superintendent Ed Fletcher shares the recognized students:

“We had four kids who were recognized at GAVC’s signing day. We had a couple of them who are going to go into welding; three of them who plan to go to Carl Sandburg and/or Monmouth College, or Carl Sandburg via Monmouth College to go into nursing. Coraima Izquierdo, Aliena Brentise, Jenny Jiguan, and Joceline Raygoza.”

For the 2024-2025 school year, 26 students at Monmouth-Roseville High School will be enrolled in a program offered through the Galesburg Area Vocational Center.
