We have a lot to be PROUD of tonight! We went into Alpha with a purpose and that was to come out with a WIN and we did just that! First off congratulations to Addie Seitz on surpassing 700+ career strikeouts tonight. Secondly, I wish everyone reading this post could have seen our execution tonight! We came out swinging and in the top of the first Addie launched a ball over the right field fence. Shelby Bowman went 3-3 with a walk as well on the night! We had sac bunts, bunts for hits, sac flys and just some plain old good solid hits! Miley Stimpson came in clutch when she got a bunt down in the alley with runners on 2nd and 3rd to score both of them. We did not just get a lead and be happy with it, we kept grinding and punching back with each inning we played! We also made a couple great defensive plays throughout the game! We are proud of everyone on the team, they all played a role tonight whether it was on the field or in the dugout cheering on their teammates throughout the game! We are back at it tomorrow at Illini West!
