The Big Ten Network announced today the game date and time for Western Illinois University against Indiana University will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024, with a 7:00 pm ET (6:00 pm CT) kickoff in Bloomington, Indiana.

“We are excited to be able to showcase Leatherneck Football and first-year head coach Joe Davis on the Big Ten Network,” said Director of Athletics Paul A. Bubb. “Playing under the lights on a Friday night will make this an even more special time for the Leathernecks.”

WIU Football is no stranger to the Big Ten Network, having last played on air on the network at Minnesota on September 10, 2022. The meeting between the Leathernecks and the Hoosiers, however, is the first in program history.

The Leathernecks open the season on August 31 at Northern Illinois. WIU’s Season Ticket Drive presented by Toyota is happening now. Fans can purchase season tickets to all five Leatherneck Football home games for just $45 before prices increase to $60 this Saturday, June 1. Head to leathernecktickets.com for more information.
