Local Business Owner Excited to See Transformation of Downtown Monmouth

Market Alley Wines, the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Business of the Year, was established in 2011. Celebrating 13 years in Downtown Monmouth, current Owner Sarah Walters, who purchased the business in 2017, is excited to see what is in store following the Downtown Beautification project:

“We are super excited about the Downtown Beautification, I think that is going to be great. I am excited just as a citizen just to see the Downtown get that little face lift that is needs. I love our town, I love to be a cheerleader for our town. It makes me happy to see us progress in the right direction. You have to make a mess to make progress and so it is going to be a disruption, it is going to be inconvenient at times, but in the end it is going to be so worth it. It is going to improve our sweet little town and make us that much more attractive to outsiders that might want to come enjoy our town for the day or the weekend.”

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29th, Market Alley Wines will welcome Guest Bartender Trevor Davies, Citizen of the Year, from 5 to 7 pm, with collected tips benefiting the Recharge Teen Center, the Non-Profit of the Year.
